Trump's indictments shouldn't matter...

...in reaching a decision about supporting him.

Settling a claim in civil court for creating a fraudulent college and bilking people out of their hard earned money. That settlement was for $25 million.

Being caught on tape saying he grabs women by the p***y and then being found guilty of sexual assault in civil court in a unanimous jury verdict and paying $5 million.

His CEO of a family-owned business he controlled all of his adult life, pleads guilty to fraud and tax evasion.

Numerous bankruptcies and cheating contractors.

Bone spurs, disparaging McCain's heroism, racist attacks, misogynist attacks and bigotry.

His 1972 settlement with the Nixon Administration Justice Department for discrimination in renting apartments. His labor department fines for hiring undocumented workers and paying them sub-standard wages.

3 marriages in which he cheated on each of his wives, once with a porn star while his 3rd wife was home nursing his son.

These are all incidents and actions Trump committed before he was President (even though the day of reckoning in some cases were after his inauguration).

I never needed these recent 4 indictments and 91 counts to figure out that Donald Trump is a no-good fucking asshole.

I knew it all along.

our problem would not go away. Millions of Americans condone what Trump has done and the new Magat political party is in lock step with him. 2 Congressional Republicans criticized Trump for being an evil person and were banished from the new Magat party.

The new Magat party is a minority party, it already controls the Supreme Court, and the only way for a minority party to control our government is to destroy our democracy and become a country like Russia where people who criticize Dear leader fall from tall buildings or whose airplane is shot out of the sky.

If Trump were elected in 2024 I expect a Pinocet-style reign, Trump will live in the White House until he dies.

I think we would become more like Iraq/Saudi Arabia - where the hardline, religious minority ruled the country at the expense of everyone else.

It feels like we're already heading down that path.

So one night I asked a simple question on a post she shared about how great Trump is. I asked her what qualities he had that most closely reflect her faith.

Crickets.

Next day, I checked in to see if she had responded. Nope. I was unfriended.

Oh well. No big loss to me.

Their demigod thinks violence is the answer to non-violent "offenses," as does TFG...and those who follow both.

Their demigod thinks foreigners are dogs--and even called them that to their faces, as does TFG...and those who follow both.

Their demigod is all for promoting divisiveness, even amongst families, as does TFG...and those who follow both.

Their demigod wants to torment and torture anyone who disagrees with him, forever, as does TFG...and those who follow both.

So it's really not all that difficult to square her religious choice with supporting TFG. They're all but made for each other.

They are christians. The implications with those stupid bunny ear quotes are that they're faking it because christians are all good people, and anyone who is bad has to be not-christian.

That is BS. Bad people are christians, too, so stop trying to pawn off thosee bad actors on people who had bloody bugger all to do with creating them. They are not one of us, no matter how many lies--implied or not--all of you vomit up to paint them that way.

We non-christians are tired of being blamed for things that aren't in the least related to us. Your dirty laundry, not ours. YOU clean it up, rather than tossing it in our backyard.

How long will it be before the magats are chased back into the shadows. A year, a decade, a generation? Many are looking at this problem like it's the beginning of the end, I believe it's just the end of the beginning. I believe we make a grave error in this exponentially changing world to think the cancer will be gone just because one tumor is removed.

A short respite may very well be in the books (if some remain) but the war will continue and we owe it to our kids, grandkids, great-grandkids...... to keep fighting.

I know I will celebrate and have been whenever tfg looses, but I treat it like a long needed break from the madness, not an end unto itself. Realizing I have become more cynical than I have ever been. Is my cynicism unrealistic? Or preparatory for what's coming? In my life, I have done well being prepared for whats ahead. A hard learned trait no doubt but one I now rely on.

IMO

And they'll be here long after him. We'll probably never wipe it out, because this nonsense has been festering since the Civil War.

Good grief, the good people in Germany have spent over 75 years trying to atone for the Nazi years, they've banned the party and cracked down on Nazi speech...and even that hasn't killed off the Nazi sympathizers there. Makes it harder to be a Nazi, yes...but doesn't eradicate it.

We haven't made nearly that kind of effort to prevent another murderous right wing takeover of the government, so what do you think our chances are if Germany can't control it, entirely?

I have never understood how he got a pass for the disrespectful suckers and losers insult.

Also, his argumentative defensiveness regarding the death of Sgt. La David Johnson in Niger (“He knew what he signed up for…”).

And - every twisted betrayal involving Syria. F*ck.

And the Taliban.

I mention all of this as a critic of militarism. Cheetolini and his followers are monstrous — and that’s putting it nicely.

NO ONE considering voting for Trump cares about those things.

It's simply Team Red vs Team Blue

It's tribalism.

Just an aside... I don't care what the polls say. Do you HONESTLY believe there is ONE single US citizen that wakes up on Election Day and says "I'm heading to go vote and I'm conflicted... on one hand I love 1967 Corvettes and on the other hand I like Border walls... I love how Biden is addressing Climate Change but I also love how Trump treats women..."

In reality... the population is 40% Red, 40% Blue and 20% indifferent who MAY decide to vote this year depending on motivation.

But a voter who isn't quite sure who's a better choice? Nah.
