Republicans were elected to preside over this government.

They are responsible for what happens when the people give them the majority.

They cannot throw up their hands, surrender all responsibility, and blame it on the Democrats.

They cannot say "my way or the highway", if they do not get their way. They must seek compromise with their opposition. They cannot ignore the needs of the people for simple political reasons. They were elected to do the job required. They are neglecting the will of the people.

They must do what must be done to open this government.

They have no one to blame but themselves.
