It would be interesting to see how many would show up in February. Might make a bigger impact, showing up in bad weather.

what's left of it---- with participants carrying torches and pitchforks...!

(or some sort of 'electric torch'--- safety first! or maybe 'Light sabers'!)

Otherwise, with more past participants reportedly being older,
it is less likely that we will come out in such cold weather
no matter how much we believe in the cause!

Whatever news coverage would be generated would likely emphasize
a decrease in the number of participants from the previous protests

(and I presume that would prove true, but I am not an infallible prophet)

About this event

The onslaught of news, the chaos coming out of the White House – it’s all meant to overwhelm us. It’s a deliberate strategy to sow confusion and make us believe we are powerless to fight back.

The antidote: Coming together in community to process what’s happening, to sift through what’s important and what’s just noise, and coalesce around strategies for fighting back.

Join Indivisible co-founders Leah Greenberg and Ezra Levin each week, as we carve out an hour to discuss what’s happening and – more importantly – what’s the plan.

I think national boycotts should be the next move, not a general strike. Remember how well the boycott in favor of Jimmy Kimmel worked? That is what we need now....hit the GOP in their greedy pocketbooks. That is what they live for...$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

The rallies were great. 21 million showed up for the Oct 18th NO KINGS!

"8% of Americans say they participated in a No Kings protest on October 18 - about 21 Million
No Kings protests
Most Americans (87%) heard a lot (47%) or a little (40%) about the No Kings protests held nationwide on October 18

Older Democrats and Democratic-leaning Independents are more likely than younger ones to have participated: 25% of those 65 and older did compared to 13% of younger adults
