Trump: "Merry Christmas, and Colbert is a dead man walking!"

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

THE TRUMP KENNEDY CENTER HONORS will be broadcast tonight, on CBS, and Stream on Paramount+. Tune in at 8 P.M. EST! At the request of the Board, and just about everybody else in America, I am hosting the event. Tell me what you think of my “Master of Ceremony” abilities. If really good, would you like me to leave the Presidency in order to make “hosting” a full time job? We will be honoring true GREATS in the History of Entertainment: Sylvester Stallone, Michael Crawford, KISS, George Strait, and Gloria Gaynor.

If Network NEWSCASTS, and their Late Night Shows, are almost 100% Negative to President Donald J. Trump, MAGA, and the Republican Party, shouldn’t their very valuable Broadcast Licenses be terminated? I say, YES!

Who has the worst Late Night host, CBS, ABC, or NBC??? They all have three things in common: High Salaries, No Talent, REALLY LOW RATINGS!

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

Stephen Colbert is a pathetic trainwreck, with no talent or anything else necessary for show business success. Now, after being terminated by CBS, but left out to dry, he has actually gotten worse, along with his nonexistent ratings. Stephen is running on hatred and fumes ~ A dead man walking! CBS should, “put him to sleep,” NOW, it is the humanitarian thing to do!

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

THE TRUMP RULE:

The Financial News today was great — GDP up 4.2% as opposed to the predicted 2.5% (and this, despite the downward pressure of the recent Democrat Shutdown!) — But in the Modern Market, when you have good news, the Market stays even, or goes down, because Wall Street’s “heads” are wired differently than they used to be. In the old days, when there was good news, the Market went up. Nowadays, when there is good news, the Market goes down, because everybody thinks that Interest Rates will be immediately lifted to take care of “potential” Inflation. That means that, essentially, we can never have a Great Market again, those Markets from the time when our Nation was building up, and becoming great. Strong Markets, even phenomenal Markets, don’t cause Inflation, stupidity does! I want my new Fed Chairman to lower Interest Rates if the Market is doing well, not destroy the Market for no reason whatsoever. I want to have a Market the likes of which we haven’t had in many decades, a Market that goes up on good news, and down on bad news, the way it should be, and the way it was. Inflation will take care of itself and, if it doesn’t, we can always raise Rates at the appropriate time — But the appropriate time is not to kill Rallies, which could lift our Nation by 10, 15, and even 20 GDP points in a year — and maybe even more than that! A Nation can never be Economically GREAT if “eggheads” are allowed to do everything within their power to destroy the upward slope. We are going to be encouraging the Good Market to get better, rather than make it impossible for it to do so. We are going to see numbers that are far more natural, and far better, than they have ever been before. We are going to, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! The United States should be rewarded for SUCCESS, not brought down by it. Anybody that disagrees with me will never be the Fed Chairman!

With any other person in America, who "presented" as being THIS DELUSIONAL, would a Cop or M.D. immediately have them put in restraints, throw a 72 hour psychiatric hold on them for evaluation, and then hold them in a mental institution as a threat to themselves or to others........... ????????????

AND, he is normally so incoherent in his writings and postings, that he now has to have someone else write and post his lunacy.......All of these are definitely being written s by someone else for him to agree with and post ........

It was again [Former Maryland governor Martin] O’Malley who led with the most forceful attack, calling Trump an “immigrant bashing, carnival barker” and likening him to Joseph McCarthy, a conservative US senator who stoked anti-communist fear in the early cold war years.

“Well Donald Trump, when you start your registry of Americans who oppose your backward ideas,” O’Malley bellowed, punching each word for emphasis, “you can start with me.”

Asked after his speech if he considered Trump a fascist, O’Malley replied: “The appeals that he’s making – the sort of toxic mix of opportunism with public panic –are the same sort of appeals that have preceded fascists and fascism in the past.”

You represent, respectively, a large country in a strategic location that has few people but many mineral resources, and the geographically much smaller NATO-member country of which the large one is a constituent but self-governing part. You have been told repeatedly that this guy intends to take the big country. Just take it. Because of "national security." And you keep reading these posts... Do you quit your jobs and move to some very distant tropical location? What if he fucking does it? Does NATO invoke Article 5? WTF?

65. Nero loved to perform
Wed Dec 24, 2025, 11:48 AM
1 hr ago
Nero saw himself as a great patron of the arts and a cultural leader, which led him to pursue interests in music, poetry, and theater. He scandalized Roman elites by performing publicly as a singer and actor, activities considered inappropriate for an emperor. Nero's artistic ambitions, while sincere, were viewed as eccentric and unworthy of a ruler by Rome’s conservative senatorial class.

His construction projects were equally controversial. The Domus Aurea epitomized Nero’s grandiose vision but also his detachment from Rome’s political and social realities. The luxurious palace featured massive gardens, an artificial lake, and opulent decorations, which were built at great public expense.

As Nero's reign progressed, his governance became increasingly erratic. Seneca and Burrus were replaced by more pliable but less competent advisors, and Nero indulged in personal excesses. His marriage to Poppaea Sabina, after divorcing and possibly executing his first wife Octavia, further eroded his political support. Poppaea herself died under mysterious circumstances, with some accounts suggesting Nero kicked her to death during a fit of rage.

Discontent with Nero's rule culminated in a series of revolts and conspiracies. The most significant was the Pisonian Conspiracy of 65 AD, a plot by senators to assassinate Nero. Although it failed, it revealed the depth of elite dissatisfaction. Nero responded with brutal repression, executing conspirators, including his former tutor Seneca.

By 68 AD, provincial governors began to rebel, most notably Galba in Spain. Faced with widespread opposition, including desertion by the Praetorian Guard and the Senate declaring him a public enemy, Nero fled Rome. He committed suicide in June 68 AD, reportedly exclaiming, “What an artist dies in me!” Catchphrase easily attributable to the imagination of Ancient Roman historians rather than an elusive historical truth.

Watch how many times he's answering reporter questions with "I don't know." That's becoming a thing now and it's telling for someone who's got a cockamamie opinion on everything. And it seems everything is turning into a PR disaster. Now the Epstein albatross is permanently around his neck.

This time he thought he could do it his way. No pesky aides and cabinet members telling him no. Just yes people fawning over him and it would work. He'd be successful. But it turned out this go around is even worse than the first. He's reached first term political disaster level in less than a year.

He may not leave on his own, but that mindset will wear on him, physically and mentally, speeding up his inevitable end. Anything that checks him out quicker is a good thing. Pile it on!!
