Confidence in Trump Plummets

A new Pew Research poll finds President Trump’s approval rating stands at 37%, down from 40% in the fall.

By more than two-to one — 50% to 21% — Americans say the administration’s actions have been worse than they expected, rather than better.

Today, only 27% of Americans say they support all or most of Trump’s policies and plans – down from 35% when he took office last year. That change has come entirely from Republicans.

There will be little volatility, and no dead-cat bounce like in financial markets. The public is not just disapproving, they are frightened, lamenting the loss of what they knew. Trump can't rebuild it with executive orders, rebranding, and sleight-of-hand. I expect any rebound in spending to be on the light side. Financial markets are about to be impacted by the end of the Japanese carry trade and US debt. Watch the bond markets, the big banks, and precious metals. There is no good news there for little people, which are most of voters.

will go down rapidly when they come after them. Fascists never stop until we stop them.. Call your Reps and Senators, and make sure they are doing the Peoples' work. That's why we voted them in, if not replace them. Don't go with the status quo.

I won't be satisifed until it's down in the low 30s/high 20s, then you know a hell of a lot of center right people have jumped.
