(2,829 posts)The resulting evacuation events should involve a lard sculpture* of the Lardy One himself. Perhaps even funding the beer giveaway itself** by charging a nominal fee to urinate on said sculpture.
*I've never heard of lard sculpture before, but I've frequently viewed the butter sculptures at the Minnesota State Fair and I'm imagining that to be a skill that should be transferable to the lard medium. I have little doubt in my mind that large blocks of lard suitable for sculpture will be available in Wisconsin.
**or, if so desired, as a charitable event with proceeds to the ACLU or an immigrant law center of some sort?

MADISON, Wis. (AP) President Donald Trump has endorsed U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany in Wisconsins open race for governor, solidifying the congressmans front-runner status in the Republican primary in the battleground state while also bolstering Democrats attempts to tie Tiffany to unpopular elements of the presidents agenda.
Trump announced the endorsement in a social media post on Tuesday night, saying Tiffany has always been at my side. Tiffany has been a fierce Trump loyalist since he was elected to Congress in 2020. Prior to that he served just over seven years in the Wisconsin Legislature where he was a firm backer of Republican Gov. Scott Walker.
Trump said as governor Tiffany would work to grow the economy, cut taxes, secure the border, ensure law and order, support the military and protect gun rights.
Tiffany said he was honored to receive the endorsement and promised that if elected I will make Wisconsin great again by lowering utility rates and property taxes, cutting burdensome red tape, rooting out waste and fraud, and restoring common-sense leadership to Madison.

(1,567 posts)My in-laws wanted to celebrate their 50th anniversary on his boat, wilderness cruises or something like that. They ran out of food. It was cold and tasted shitty. And I repeatedly post that on his little campaign page on Facebook. When asked about Minnesota, he stated that he hadn't seen the videos when I asked about it. What a piece of shit.

(17,405 posts)this country is going to have a whole shitload of drunks celebrating. There'll be a run on the liquor stores to get that special bottle of champagne for those who haven't prepared. Others will have a different choice of beverage, but I'll bet if it's a weekday a lot of people will be calling off work because they're hung over. Heck, I bet even other countrie will be celebrating! It'll be the biggliest celebration ever!
