Interesting women (and men, or non binary person) do something that creates a story. Or have a story to tell, some growth, some movement forward to success or redemption, or movement backwards to a magnificent downfall.
I'm sorry, wandering around being a bored shadow showpiece to a criminal or a bored narrator describing a situation or location, is boring in itself.
If there is an element of humor or irony in ennui, it could be interesting as an example of ridicule.
But trying to dress it up and present it as something deep...well, it doesn't matter how "pretty" something looks, a slap-dash surface coat of sparkle is just that - fleeting, shallow, and barely obscuring whatever might be beneath it. And if there's very little with no consequence beneath that sparkle, don't expect a lot of interest.
