What do you think about Lindsey Vonn's plans to ski tomorrow?

I won't be watching.

My problem is that I have had one knee replaced (old ski injury) and need to have the other replaced.

That said, I will be rooting for her.

I hope she lets out all the stops and goes for it. It's her last Olympics, why not?

You might want to ask her if she has regrets. I would wager she doesn't. It was her choice.

And her knee wasn't the direct cause of the crash. Her arm clipped the gate. That could have happened to any of the skiers.

With a functionally absent ACL, further damage to the meniscus and cartilage are a given with the stresses that will occur on that joint.

She must be planning on retiring and getting a total knee replacement after she finishes these Olympic games.

I see this morning that I was right. However, she had every right to try. I'm not the one making her decisions.

That was the test she needed to decide about racing today. Her knee held up under the stress of racing.

Unfortunately, her arm clipped the gate today and she crashed. Probably wasn't the bad knee.

Leave her alone. Her race. Her knee. She did what she wanted to. If she had medaled, we'd all be praising her.

Brave young woman. She'll recover. She gave it a shot. Good for her!

I totally support her decision to race.

Just pointing out that she was still very competitive, even after last week's injury.
