There is so much voter suppression, gerrymandering, vote count rigging that it surprises me any Democratic leader is ever voted in. But they can beat even a rigged system if they keep fighting for fair voting systems.
That's one good thing about our states controlling elections. When the GOP invariably rigs the elections, they got to deal with a minimum of 50 different systems to break into. One of the reasons the GOP always rigs the presidential election is that it's only one candidate they have to adjust the numbers for.
