A different perspective on the Iran war

First off, let me reiterate my WHITE-HOT HATRED for the treasonous, IMBECILIC child-raping ASSHOLE in the WH.

2 anecdotal cases that I came across this past week.
On Monday, I got together with my buddies from work (before I retired) for lunch. We get together about every 3 months or so. Some of the guys are still working, so we talk some shop, talk some football, etc.
Inevitably, the conversation turns to the war in Iran. One guys son is in the Navy, and he is PISSED at Dotard for his possible deployment to the ME.
But the fascinating comment came from my Iranian former co-worker. He still has family in Iran.
There's no internet in Iran right now, but he was able to contact his family by land line.
And they told him THE ARE ABSOLUTEY LOVING the attempted destruction of the regime. They HATE the rulers and want them gone!!

The second case was my wife's boss at the school system. He's Jewish, and has family in Israel.
His family as well is cheering on this war and the destruction of Iran!!

The older I get, the more passive I become towards the US warmongering. If we were going to get more involved in ANY WAR, it should have helped Ukraine more to stop the Russian genocide of the Ukrainian people. And stopping the Israeli genocide in Palistine.

Trump is a DISASTER, we all know it, and I would NEVER under any circumstance support ANYTHING that shithead does, but I just wanted to point out a different perspective I've come across recently.

they or their loved ones are killed by US or Israeli bombs. It's always whose ox is getting gored.

What are the chances he drops the big one on Iran?

Violence creates only one thing. More violence.

I would much prefer he suffers a long painful death in prison than a quick vaporization.
