It reminds me if McConnell stealing a Supreme Court seat from President Obama, then changing the rules for Trump to rush Amy Coney Barrett onto the court. Many people thought it was bogus, but it didn't change their votes.

We also know, the Ds have called for fairly drawn congressional maps for the last few decades and tried to call a truce on it, so to speak, when Joe was president and put a bill forward to establish this - every D voted for it, and every R voted against it.

Things settled down a bit between the ten year map reviews, but of course DTJ had to open the can of worms up by prodding his idiot boot lickers in charge of Red states to force gerrymandering in advance of these mid terms.

But, all it takes is a few of their breathless screeds on Faux and FB and X memes showing some states that have no R congressmen and poof, the cherished "middle" voters pass all of this off as "both sides."

Honestly, neither party is above this, and I think average Americans are sick of it. We point to the Midwest as evidence of extreme gerrymandering, and they point to New England.

Stealing elections are so messy and dicey. Robbing one of their right to vote or even entering the ballot precinct to cast their vote - causes the hammer to hit the nail top dead center and drive the idea of voter disenfranchisement/suppression all the way home.
