Jen Psaki dismantles Eric Trump's denial with one clip: 'I'll let you be the judge'

I really hope that Eric sued MS Now and Psaki. I saw this last night on Psaki's show and smiled.

MS NOW's Jen Psaki used her Friday night show to fact-check Eric Trump in real time after the president's son threatened to sue her and the network over coverage of his business ties during Donald Trump's state visit to China.

MS NOW's Jen Psaki used her Friday night show to fact-check Eric Trump in real time after the president's son threatened to sue her and the network over coverage of his business ties during Donald Trump's state visit to China.

"Today, the adult son of the President of the United States, Eric Trump, came after us on social media and accused us of lying," the former Biden White House press secretary told viewers on "The Briefing."

The lawsuit threat stemmed from a Wednesday segment in which Psaki cited a Financial Times report that crypto-linked firm ALT5 Sigma was pursuing a deal with a Chinese chipmaker that U.S. lawmakers have warned is connected to the Chinese Communist Party. ALT5 is deeply entangled with the Trump family's World Liberty Financial crypto venture, which Eric co-founded....

Psaki then walked viewers through the paper trail: ALT5 publicly announced Eric was joining its board, SEC filings listed him as a director, and the company's own website identified him as one. In subsequent SEC filings, he was redesignated as a board "observer" — a nonvoting role that allows him to attend board meetings.

"Eric, of course, says that he has no business interests in China at all," Psaki concluded, "and that he joined his dad's official trip there for one reason and one reason alone: as a loving son who adores his dad. I'll let you be the judge."

Eric is not very bright and so I really hope that he sues Jen Psaki and MS NOW

https://thehill.com/homenews/media/5880380-eric-trump-lawsuit-msnow-psaki/

President Trump’s son Eric Trump said Friday he will sue MS NOW, formerly MSNBC, and host Jen Psaki after a monologue on her show questioned whether his business interests, combined with traveling with his father on a high-stakes trip to China, was a conflict of interest.

Psaki said on her show “The Briefing” that ALT5 Sigma, a Las Vegas-based fintech company for which Eric Trump once served as a board observer, is seeking a “potential deal with a Chinese computer chip manufacturer to build AI data centers and a whole bunch of other AI-related stuff” connected to China’s government. She cited reporting by the Financial Times.

“I intend to sue @jrpsaki and @MSNOWNews over the below clip,” the president’s son wrote on the social platform X. “To be clear: Contrary to her monolog and blatant lies, I have NEVER been on the board of ALT5 — not now, not ever.”

Eric Trump’s name and listing disappeared from ALT5’s leadership webpage, Bloomberg first reported late last month. He said Friday, however, that “any person with basic access to Google and willing to open a company’s annual report or proxy statements would know this.”

The Trump Organization’s executive vice president added that he has had “zero involvement in any merger discussions involving any public entity” he does not run or control. “I have zero business interests in China. No properties, no investments, nothing!”

5. Couple of things:

One: This would be a frivolous lawsuit. More than without merit. Knowing it would be a waste of the court's time.

Two: Eric is following his father's MO of suing, not expecting to win, but to intimidate and collect a settlement (and not pay his counsel).

Three: Back to #1 -- Attorneys who file frivolous lawsuits and lose have to pay treble (3x) damages.

"MS NOW is owned by Versant Media Group, a publicly traded company that spun off from Comcast on January 5, 2026. Versant trades on Nasdaq under ticker symbol VSNT and includes cable networks such as CNBC, USA Network, and MS NOW."
