Al Jazeera cameraman Ahmed Wishah killed in Israeli strike on Gaza

The US media seems to be ignoring Israel's continuing attacks on Gaza. The latest is an Al-Jazeera cameraman. They keep killing journalists and claiming they're Hamas operatives while providing no evidence. Israel has murdered at least 260 journalists in Gaza and probably a greater number of doctors, nurses, and aid workers. Some deaths might have been inadvertent, but the IDF has executed many such people on purpose to keep their atrocities against the Palestinians secret.

4. Yes. It's never been a story the US press cared to report - but the silence recently is so noticeable.

We start our morning M-F with Democracy Now and the only way I her reporting - other than when we put on Al Jazeera or sometimes BBC. My older relatives left Israel and settled in France back during the last bombing of Lebanon. Their children and grandchildren are still there so we get news fairly frequently from them and i have more distant younger family still in Israel working with peace organizations trying to make sense of the senseless. I haven’t been back in more than two years and not sure I ever will again.

Israel does not want the world to see what it has done - or to put brakes on what it continues to do.

Because if we truly saw it, all of it, we would be so outraged and revolted that we would - use your imagination here....

Consciousness of guilt. Israel knows full well what it has done and continues to do.

The ban on foreign journalists does not appear to be a temporary security measure. Instead, it functions as a systematic policy aimed at controlling the narrative of events in Gaza. Without independent international reporting, official Israeli accounts circulate with little scrutiny. This limits accountability and obscures the scale of destruction and civilian suffering.

In a war that has killed and wounded tens of thousands, the absence of international media has distorted global understanding and weakened factual reporting.

The ban on foreign journalists coincides with the direct targeting of Palestinian reporters inside Gaza. Together, these actions create a deliberate media vacuum. This severely limits source diversity and restricts reporting to a narrow range of perspectives. It prevents independent investigations based on eyewitness testimony and on-the-ground verification.

Observers argue this vacuum is deliberate, designed to reduce coverage and limit international accountability.
