I look up to Michelle and Barack Obama.

The Bidens, Marc Carney, and Vladimir Zelinskyy.

3. Yeah, the Obamas. Also some local activists in the red county where I live

Especially the ones who power on despite bouts of cancer, back surgery, and many other ills of old age. One of my favorites is a tiny woman who works tirelessly to fight corporations who want every drop of our precious fossil ground water in this desert area.

4. John Lennon and Pope John Paul II.

There are others, but those two stand out as tremendous leaders who have been to hell and back (in different ways) and refuse to be intimidated.
