What's on your bucket list?

I'd love to spend a week or two in Venice. Maybe rent an apartment and just explore the whole lagoon, take a ton of reference photos to do paintings of, and do some painting there.

2. Tour of France

Mostly the southeast and eastern regions but all of it is appealing- the Loire valley, the Dordogne, Grenoble, Poiters, anywhere Eleanor of Aquitaine might have been. Oh and a river cruise on the Rhine.

3. I went to Venice in 2016 for the first time and ended up going in 2017 and 2018 again.

I could live there it’s so awesome! We just walked around and got lost and found in Venice.

With the reign of terror we are experiencing in this country I’m afraid to fly anymore. But I’d return to Venice in an heart beat but Tahiti and New Zealand are my next wishful destinations. Sadly the way things are going I don’t know if I will make it there.

5. My favorite city on the planet.

I've been there several times, but only for a few days at a time. It's a step back in time to the 18th Century. Just magical.

Travel, mostly. Both the states and abroad. But alas, finances.
I will just have watch you tube videos and find recipes of food from the places I would love to visit.

7. A few weeks in Paris with my wife.

and Cooperstown, NY to see the Baseball Hall of Fame.

9. Life is short and uncertain...

So I've been doing minor bucket list things. I went to the zoo, butterfly pavilion and the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. I'd definitely like to travel in the future but I haven't thought about where.

10. I'd like to win the lottery.

Eight figures, preferably. Seven, at least. After that there's a few things I'd like to do, like get a house with a bigger kitchen.

12. I can only DREAM of England and Scotland, Ireland....

But I'm scared to death of flying. Can't swim. Boats are out because the sea also terrifies me. Was on a fishing boat once off New Jersey and the damn engine kept cutting out and we drifted almost into international waters with waves high as a mountain coming at us. The other passengers were all fishing and everyone but me got seasick. NEVER AGAIN!

I'll just have to dream and fantasize.

go for an underwater adventure in a mini submarine.

15. Tahiti, Moorea, French Polynesia

I've come close to booking trips there in the last couple of years, but, in the end, just couldn't bring myself to do it. It's such a lot of flying time and I really hate flying now, and have for at least the last 10 years. It's also a big honeymoon and couples romantic destination, that it might be too sad going alone.
I'm somewhat resolved to confine my travel at this point in my life to closer to home. I am going to the Spoleto Festival in Charleston, SC at the end of the month, which is one of my favorite things to do.
