50yrs. Saw them 1974 and 2024 . Have a few albums.

4. I used to catch them at big outdoor parties and

at the bandshell at Kosciuszko Park in Milwaukee. Those were the days in the Milwaukee County Parks with free concerts and mini music festivals. Caught one with them and The Miller Brothers. Daytime concert on a Saturday afternoon in the summer with the sun shining and the beautiful trees in the park keeping us all cool. Bluegrass and country rock with brats and sauerkraut. The music was free and lasted for over 5 hours including set breaks. The food was reasonable and local and we carried in beer in coolers. The crowd was about 400 or so and everybody was cool with no hassles or people getting out of hand. Just laid back and into the music and the scene. Those were the days.
