I used my portable studio light box to photograph this native wildflower (Coreopsis lanceolata), pulled from one of my flowerbeds this evening. The box has an array of LED lights and a set of backdrops.

(6,574 posts)I'd taken some shots of the flower in situ and got some nice bokeh from the surrounding blossoms and greenery, but wasn't happy with the results overall.

(87,634 posts)and go to some print place and have postcards made of it.
OR, if you wanted to go all out, have a set of folded cards made where this image is on the front. And its plain-white-empty inside - where you write your message and sign it. Add envelopes and youve got the best and most affordable Christmas gifts imaginable!
If so, you might want a small notation on the back (or along one side if its a postcard) with your name and the year). GREAT gift!!! And the recipients WILL be wowed when they see your attribution on there, like an artist signing his/her work.
