Perfectly spooky, with that vulture! There are a LOT of vultures where we live, and our home is a rediculously large 1908 victorian. We came home one day to find 6 vultures on the roof and chimneys! I've called it the Addams family house ever since.

I'm surprised at the sharpness at such a slow speed, however f/25 is pretty excessive and made the difference I think. Here is the raw file as seen through the viewfinder, no processing at all

(10,012 posts)the other moon shot like this one was two different occasions, two different cameras. It's a fools errand to consider catching something like this. catching an airplane against the moon has some basis in planning and that's what I was doing when along comes this guy, same with the previous shot last week
