I truly did not know what kind of responses I'd get! I have been gratified by all of them.

Hope you had fun!

I just want to mention that I have just such a collection of tools standing in a vase with a lip on my countertop. My vase is bright yellow, like the spoon with the oval hole in it. I don't have a countertop as marbley as yours, but I have a ladle. Mine is blue. In the great scheme of things, this means nothing, but it makes me feel companionable.

We have similar tastes and that brings us together. My countertop and the splash guard are granite. I love them!
