AR-HD44: Special primary election dates set for Arkansas Rep. Stan Berry's (R) seat
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders issued a proclamation on Tuesday night for a special election.
The election is for the seat vacated by Rep. Stan Berry (R-44) after his March 23 death.
The proclamation sets the filing dates for candidates, beginning at noon on April 14 and ending at noon on April 20, followed by a candidate’s drawing for ballot position by April 24.
The primary election will take place on June 2, with certification of the results due by June 12.
