These things will probably end up in Prague or some place like that. They can't be worn out.
Own a piece of District transit history: Former DC Streetcars up on the auction block
by Thomas Mates Wed, May 20, 2026 at 2:09 PM

A DC Streetcar along H Street in Washington, D.C., on its final day of operation on March 31, 2026. (7News)
WASHINGTON (7News) If you are a transit enthusiast and have money to spare, then you can own a piece of D.C. transportation history by buying one of the former H Street streetcars.
Three of the light rail trains are up for auction on the website govdeals.com.
As of this writing, one of the 2007 Inekon 100 Series Streetcars is going for $35,000, while the other two are going for $50,000.
According to the listing, the streetcars still bear some of the DDOT and DC Streetcar signage, but that will be removed before sale.

Thanks to Stephen (and others) for sending their finds from GovDeals:
The auction starts at $35,000 not bad!! I think:
A 2007 Inekon 100 Series Streetcar.
This streetcar is a modern, low-floor light rail vehicle designed for urban transit operations. It has been decommissioned from active service and is being sold as-is, where-is. However, if missing or non-operating parts listed below are fixed can become operable.
