Spokane County primary election ballots arrive next week with new envelope design
Spokane, Wash. — Preparation for Spokane County's August 4th primary election is underway, with the Elections Office set to mail out ballots starting next week on July 15th and 16th.
The Spokane County Elections Office will begin distributing ballots Wednesday and Thursday, with voters expected to receive their ballots in their mailboxes within about a week and a half. Over 377,000 envelopes will be sent out, but that number is expected to be higher as we near the primary.
Voters should expect a change in appearance when their ballots arrive. The ballot envelopes will feature a navy-blue stripe on the top left corner. Each county has a different color. For Spokane County, it is navy-blue.
"We really urge voters to mark your ballot as soon after you receive it as soon possible and get it back into the mail to us," Dalton said.
