Results from Dane County's spring primary election: who advances
The unofficial spring primary election results for several Dane County races are in.
The county clerk reported about 391,000 people were registered to vote in the election, about the same number registered in the 2023 spring primary election.
This time, over 50,000 voters cast ballots to narrow the candidates for a handful of municipal leadership positions — including judges, County Board seats, and village board members in Cottage Grove, Cross Plains and Mount Horeb — generating a 13% turnout rate.
The candidates next face off in the April 7 Spring Election.
