Green Bay City Council, Brown County Board races narrowed in primary

The Feb. 17 primary elections in Brown County are over.

The incumbents who are running this go-around posted a solid showing, all advancing to the April 7 election, according to unofficial election results posted by the Brown County Clerk's Office.

There will also be some certain change to the make-up of the highest city-level and county-level bodies. At least three Brown County Board seats and two seats on the Green Bay City Council will have newcomers after April as the incumbents in those races didn't run.

Green Bay saw a roughly typical turnout compared to previous spring primaries in the city, though several polling places needed ballots to be replenished, according to Green Bay City Clerk Celestine Jeffreys.
