Does anyone have a favorite DIY solution for Bissell Little Green & Big Green carpet machines?

Do you use the same solution for both?

1. yes

1 qt water, 1 tbl ascorbic acid/vit c powder or 1c white vinegar.
depending on what you're cleaning-
1 tbl dawn, oliveoil or murphy's, or dishwasher soap, pref liquid.
dawn for grease, oil for wood, and dw for proteins like blood.
if you need bleach, you can sub for the acid, but it will eat the guts of most spray bottles,
for tile you can use more acid.

i put it in a spray bottle, spray down and let sit a bit, and then put plain water in the tank for a clean rinse.

2. Thanks. I like the idea of using a seperate spray bottle for the detergent & clean water in the

spray tank in my Little Bissell. Do you think it will get out red wine & coffee stains?

3. yes. i use it on my coffee counter,

get some vit c powder. for the grout on that counter i make a paste and let sit.
not sure about the wine, but should. what surface?
