Israel to bar 37 aid groups as UK and EU warn of severe impact in Gaza

Israel is to revoke the licences of 37 international non-governmental organisations (INGOs) working in Gaza and the occupied West Bank, saying they failed to meet requirements under new registration rules.

ActionAid, International Rescue Committee, Médecins Sans Frontières and Norwegian Refugee Council are among the aid agencies which will have their licences suspended on 1 January, with their operations to end within 60 days.

Israel said they had, among other things, failed to hand over "complete" personal details of their staff. The INGOs said that could put them at risk.

The move was condemned by 10 countries, which said the rules would have a severe impact on access to essential services.

1. So fucking Israel created a new rule that it knew many NGO's could not or would not comply with.

As their first priority is protecting their own staff. They are fully cognizant, many from bitter experience, of what Israel is capable of. To wit the hundreds of aid workers, doctors, nurses etc. already murdered.

Every action taken by Israel since Day 1 - especially the malicious destruction of the major aid agency UNRWA, based on bogus or non-existent evidence - was meticulously planned in order to destroy and isolate Palestinians from outside, independent help. Or, as in the case of UNRWA, to destroy Palestinians' ability to help themselves. Removing their refugee status is another goal.

Helplessness, dependence, fear and despair coupled with barbaric, medieval deprivation and suffering is what Israel wants for Palestinians. When they reach the limits of their endurance, they will be shipped off to dirt-poor breakaway Somaliland where they will fade away in poverty and obscurity.

We are witnessing the total destruction of a people. History does repeat and imperialism and its supremacist, classist, racist ideology and hunger for native lands and resources is alive and well. If it were not, none of this would have been tolerated. But it was, which makes all of our leaders in the West complicit.

No one is entitled to "complete" personal details," of another person, and certainly not any government.

4. Israel has always had near-totalitarian control over Palestinians. Now it's complete.

A dream come true for the fascists in the right-wing parties. Not afraid to call them that, either.

Palestinians don't exist or die until Israel says so and deigns to issue birth and death certificates. They are surveilled with spyware, their calls monitored. LGBTQ folk are blackmailed into becoming traitors to their own people. Oh but Israel is a liberal democracy, it protects all minorities, right? Unless they are Palestinian of course.

No need for infected blankets. The entire Palestinian zone of Gaza is now a big garbage dump as Israel has stolen even the Gaza landfill site, now located inside the Israeli zone aka the land it stole. With all sewage and water infrastructure destroyed, no hospitals worthy of the name, warm and safe tents not allowed in and now even MSF banned - all conditions are in place for cholera and other infectious diseases to ravage the population.

Blood on the hands of every chicken-shit complicit Western leader for letting it happen under their watch. They would not have allowed it if Palestinians were white Western Christians I bet. Hypocrites.
