Once again Shaw the cat is snoring on my left shoulder as I type this. 😺

Later this morning I am planning on slicing Polish sausage into coins then mixing them into scrambled eggs , whole grain toast and a pot of hot tea.

1. Hot tea

Mandarin orange and spinach salad. Toasted almond slices on top.

It will be light because we have a union meeting where we are serving pizza.

2. Black coffee ☕️, and a toasted bagel with cream cheese.

Like Shaw, Rudy is purring and keeping my lap warm.

We had severe thunderstorms last night.

5. Black coffee is made

I am slow getting going today. Grey day here with a little rain earlier. It is in the mid 50s.

Ducky and TJ passed through the kitchen earlier but seem to have returned to bed.

Next a toasted whole grain English muffin with cream cheese and cucumber slices for a change.

6. I made blueberry muffins

Used a mix and doctored it up, as my Mom would say. I added frozen blueberries and made a crunch top.

Black coffee.

For some reason, I have a sink full of dishes

7. Guilty pleasure...

Big bowl of TJ’s coffee-chocolate granola. Just in case the “coffee” part didn’t involve enough (or any) real caffeine, I finished off a jar of instant espresso. Lazy, but yum.
