We know what he means by protests, but you can't arrest or prosecute him for saying it. He is not - yet - calling for an attack on a target like he did on Jan 6. He has learned from that.

But we know what he wants his followers to do. They know what he wants. So we have been alerted by his talk. It is up to police and National Guard to be prepared to deal with the upcoming violence. It will happen. You can be sure of it.

He'll have more control over public opinion now if he's arrested than he will when the full investigation plays out. Today he has more time for the protests to build public opinion to rescue him. When the Jan 6 committee completes its work, the whole plot will be laid bare and he will have no bargaining power or room to maneuver.

Surprised KO didn't pick up on it.

Against the United States as well as indirect calls for violence against the prosecutors who are investigating him. Those should be levied against him ASAP, IMO. Don’t give him time to gin up his lunatic cult.

I doubt he will, but he reminds me of agnew, nixon, former wv governor arch moore (shelley moore capito's dad) and so many of the other defiant, but ultimately criminally inclined.
