I visited the aarp site today

I signed up a couple years ago when I was looking for house insurance. My membership is good till 2027. I had a password/username from when I bought a membership. I saw that aarp has a lot of online games and I wanted to try their version of Codeword. When I logged in, I found the games, saw that Codeword is members only. When I clicked on it, I got all kinds of hype to add a member, sign up for more years and other things I don't want to do. I didn't see a way to actually get to the game. I didn't realize that playing Codeword on the aarp site was going to turn into a complete waste of time, and I logged out.

Has anyone played games on aarp? Is there some easy way to play the members only games without investing more in aarp?

In fact, they sell "advantage" plans.

I was in a crunch looking for house ins. aarp is always hyping ins. and I thought it'd be a short cut to a better price. It wasn't, but I kept the membership. I just learned recently that they have games. Codeword is my current favorite and kind of hard to find online. Their site is continuous clickbait. Yuck!

I just started solving them last summer, and I'm still in that initial greedy stage. I could do 2 or 3 a day. The site I found only offers one.

We had a hailstorm and every house in the
neighborhood had roof damage that insurance took care of. Hartford sends an adjuster to look at my roof. He didn't even get out of his car and said I don't see any damage. I fought with them for months before I finally got another adjuster to look at it. They did finally replace my shingles. The day I got the check for my roof I cancelled my homeowners and auto insurance.

In 2018 and 2019, several class action lawsuits were filed against AARP regarding insurance policies. One lawsuit is over undisclosed licensing revenue that AARP earned from AARP-branded Medigap insurance policies. Another lawsuit claims that AARP acted as an insurance agent or an insurance broker, neither of which AARP is licensed to be, for AARP-branded Medigap insurance policies. In another lawsuit, the plaintiff said that AARP should not have used its status to claim the AARP-branded insurance policies were "best for seniors".
