Bo Bichette is the latest to cash in.

Cha-Ching! The Mets sign him to a 3 year, $126 million contract. Because maximizing the money is more important to him, apparently, than playing for a team with a reasonable chance of winning the World Series. (C’mon, it’s the Mets. We already know how that’s gonna turn out!)

Hey, the Mets had to do SOMETHING, after the Kyle Tucker rug was pulled out from under them by the Dodgers.

write on Facebook: "I'm gonna miss ya, Bo. But the first thing I'd do when facing the Mets is put a bunt down along the third base line."

Because Bichette is known to be a below-average defender and the throw to first wasn't his strength at SS, let alone from third.

My beloved Red Sox need a big bat - preferably an infielder. If they can swing that, I am optimistic about the season to come.

After signing Cabrera and Bregman, they don't have the money. Or rather the Ricketts are too cheap to spend more.

Belli is the only one left and he'll probably go back to the Yankees.

I could see the Jays swooping in to try and snag Belli.
And don’t forget Suarez. Too old to probably get a long contract, but the Yanks usually seem to prize guys with big bats over defenders.
