5. I picked Denver/Buffalo

I used to root for Denver as my favorite AFC team when they had Elway(who I no longer like) and later the Plummer years. I stopped paying attention when they moved to Cutler. I don't favor them anymore but wouldn't mind seeing Denver out of the AFC teams. I don't like Buffalo mostly because of the hype surrounding Josh Allen which is odd because I did like him when he was a prospect out of Wyoming.

As far as Seattle/San Francisco I don't like either team but I guess I'll pick Seattle but I don't really care.

Also don't like the Rams so Chicago will be easy to root for out of the NFC. Definitely rooting for Houston over New England. Even though they no longer have Brady or Belichick they still have Robert Kraft.

He seems to be a good guy and he's a helluva QB. No denying that.

What made you turn against Elway?

7. Probably his Republican politics

I was born in the 80s so by the time I was watching football I didn't pay much attention to athlete's politics though events like the raised fists at the Olympics and Muhammad Ali were looked at as good things by sports journalists at the time so what little politics were mentioned was always considered good things by sports journalists but either way I didn't pay much attention to the political leanings of athletes in the 90s so there really wasn't a reason to dislike and when analysts like Bradshaw were critical I took Elway's side. Once I got to know him and his politics better I didn't like him as much anymore.

I have nothing against Josh Allen it is just that there is almost too much hype. Analysts love to pick Buffalo to make it to the Super Bowl which they have the last couple of years. I remember one analyst saying this post season with no Mahomes, Burrow, or Jackson in the playoffs Allen should have no excuse to not make it to the Super Bowl.
