Christine Erickson (R) announced as winner of Sioux Falls mayoral race after recount
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Thursday was day two of a ballot recount regarding the Sioux Falls mayoral race between Christine Erickson and Jamie Smith.
After day one of recounting on Wednesday, Erickson’s lead had grown by a few votes after absentee ballots were reviewed.
Day-of ballots remained on Thursday, with the outcome on the line.
