I'm type 1 since '82.
This sounds hopeful.
The tuberculosis vaccine bcg version has been shown to stoo the auto immunity that causes the body to wipe out the insulin cells. So those 2 together might be the solution.

For my other type 1 take melatonin while waiting for stem cells.

But it probably would have been too late to reverse the body damage of either. Its a horrendous disease.

I really hope this can help others.
