Saw the nutritionist today

Blood sugar was down to 185. I fasted. Only had coffee with a sugared creamer and a small piece of fruit cake with my meds. That is way down from the 538 two weeks ago. But it took three meds to do it.

And I once had three years straight of double digit A1C readings. But that was ten years ago.

I found that fasting is the best way to regulate my blood glucose level (BG). I used to fast once a week to what amounted to 42-44 hours fasting. I haven't done that for a few months now and my morning BG levels have been at 200-280 recently. Intermittent fasting also helps a lot and it is time for me to go back to that. I can get it under control. It is time again.

Have dinner early - like between 5 and 6 - and have breakfast late. Around 10 ish with a small snack if I have to at 2 or 3. Have lost about 14 lbs. About 15 more to go.

Trying to get numbers lower, weight, BP and also have type 2 in family history, so good luck to us all. Onward and in this case downward, I guess.
