Jasmine Crockett: "Don't Mess With Texas" -- Republicans Are Nervous and I've Got the Receipts - CNN Laura Coates Live

In this CNN interview, Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett makes it plain: Texas is not as red as they’ve been telling you.

As early voting wraps, Crockett talks about the surge in turnout, the unexpected influence of young women in this race, and why the only polls that matter are the ones Texans show up to. While critics question whether she can win a general election, Republicans are spending millions trying to stop her before she even gets there.

She addresses the attacks, the electability chatter, and the reality that she is the only Democrat consistently polling ahead of Republican opponents. And when asked about Governor Abbott pouring over $3 million into attack ads against her, she keeps it simple: follow the money.

This race isn’t about culture wars. It’s about affordability, healthcare, rent, wages, and whether working Texans finally get a fighter in Washington who doesn’t back down.

It’s interesting to me that some people are upset with her entering the race but not at Talarico. Seems they forgot that Colin Allred was already there.
This is democracy at work. Let the people decide who best represents them. I’m not worried about republicans and so called moderates.
Latinos are showing up in good numbers. Let’s focus on turning out the base and voters we can persuade that don’t usually vote. I recall Beto saying the problem with Texas is that it’s not a red or blue state. It’s a non voting state, meaning there far too many that don’t vote.
