Patel in the hot seat: FBI director spars with Democrats on drinking, Olympics trip & fair elections - MS NOW Reports
FBI Director Kash Patel was grilled today on Capitol Hill about his leadership and temperament. Sen. Chris Van Hollen questioned Patel about The Atlantic's reporting on his excessive drinking and erratic behavior. Patel denied the allegations and in turn accused Van Hollen of “slinging margaritas in El Salvador."
Sen. Patty Murray repeatedly expressed her concerns about "serious leadership" of the department and told Patel to "stick to podcasting."
