(28,373 posts)Imo, he IS the Boss.. a selfless storyteller who loves life and this country and the music that tells the stories. Ive had the pleasure of seeing him at least 3 times..in the 80s..and Id go tomorrow if he was close by. Love his philosophy that music is the universal language of our souls and the inclusion of all genres and his passion for the same politics as I have. Another place on my bucket list!

(261,622 posts)And I've only seen him live in concert once which was actually pretty bizarre. My brother was in college at the University of Vermont when he invited me to a Bruce Springsteen concert there. It must have been early days since this concert took place in the gym! He really was good and did countless encores which resulted in my being hearing impaired the next day. I don't know why they didn't choose a larger venue!

(28,373 posts)He included the audience by encouraging singing along, had a kid come on and sing with him and I cant remember how many encores because we didnt want em to stop! A great time
